Coffee was introduced to Peru in the 18th century. Nowadays, about 280.000 hectares of land are used to grow coffee, containing about 100.000 Finca's (estates). Coffees from Peru are usually quite suited for melanges as they are mild, pleasant and sweet.

This coffee is from Oxapampa, Central Peru, Andres Mountains. Elevation: 1550 to 1850 meters. Cultivated by the local Yanesha community.

  • Flavor: Beautiful, light, rounded flavor. Can also be described as nutty, like almonds, with a chocolate and coconut finish. 
  • Bean: 100% washed Arabica, Typica, Bourbon, Caturra variety.
