The collective is made up of 50 members who farm coffee on a plateau at the foot of Mount Kerinci, one of many volcanoes in the Ring of Fire. The fertile, volcanic soil gives rise to lush green landscapes where coffees with complex flavors and syrupy mouthfeel grow.  <\/p>\n<p>In the anaerobic honey process, freshly harvested coffee beans are pulped and left to ferment in their sticky mucilage inside oxygen-free anaerobic tanks. This enhances their fruity flavors, while the controlled environment allows producers to fully control the fermentation process.
