Ethiopia Sidama Iron Lion Natural Coffee Beans

Price range: €11.50 through €38.00

Iron Lion is a natural community lot from the Daye Bensa washing stations in Sidama Bensa, Ethiopia, created in partnership with The Coffee Quest and named after the Bob Marley song, “Iron Lion Zion” where zion refers to the promised land of Ethiopia.

Grown at elevations between roughly 1,900 and 2,300 m, this heirloom-variety coffee is cherry-sorted, floated, and then sun-dried on African beds for 14–18 days. It delivers an expressive, fruity profile rich in berries and fudge-like chocolate, while the producers maintain sustainable practices—including switching to organic fertilisers.
