Porlex Mini II is a stainless steel manual coffee grinder with conical ceramic burrs.
Porlex II uses its redesigned burrs for a faster, easier, more even grind. Porlex Mini II is made and designed in Osaka, Japan. The handy rubber grip allows for a better hold! This Porlex is modestly sized, making it an ideal travel companion.
The ceramic grinding disk don't heat the coffee during grinding, ensuring that the coffees flavors don't (accidentally) change. Another advantage of the ceramic grinding disk is that it retains its sharpness for a long time as opposed to a steel grinding disk. Ceramic disks don't rust and can be used for years. They are easily adjusted: from coarse (Cafetière) to very fine (Turkish).
Why is the Porlex II better than the Porlex I?
This new grinder is made from higher quality material, ensuring higher precision and durability. Compared to the Porlex I, this grinder grinds 1,3 times more coffee with the same amount of rotations!
Thanks to the new adjusting nut, the grinding degree can be adjusted more easily and more precisely. Every turn adjusts the size of the grind with 37 microns instead of 80 microns.
