With Dutch Laurel – Gluten-free
Normally laurel liquorice is flavoured with bay leaf, Klepper & Klepper decided to use essential bay leaf oil. They finally found it in the south-western tip of North Brabant, at Gova bv, a family business where they grow bay trees organically.
What is the best liquorice ever?
To mark his 25th anniversary on the Alkmaar market, Klepper Sr. wanted to make the tastiest liquorice ever. Fine in itself with 25 years of experience. More or less by chance, the liquorice turned out to contain no gluten and gelatine. Thus, we at Klepper & Klepper pretty quickly came to the conclusion that this is not only the tastiest, but even The Best Licorice Ever.
Sugar, glucose syrup, modified starch, honey (12%), liquorice root extract, salmiac salt, colouring agent (E153), flavouring, vegetable oil (coconut), glazing agent (carnauba wax).
