For traditional Japanese Matcha tea, it is advisable to use this measuring spoon (chashaku 茶杓). Put 2 spoonfuls of Matcha tea in a bowl (Matchakom-Chawan) with a little water and gently whisk it with the bambook beater(Chasen), gradually adding more water. Recommended water temperature is 85degrees.
