Tres Rayas Coffee, a cooperative founded in 2015 in Planadas, Tolima, Colombia, started with 25 members and has since grown to include 230 producers from surrounding communities. The group cultivates a variety of coffees, ranging from traditional types like Caturra, Typica, and Castillo to more exotic varieties like Geishas and Wush Wush, grown at altitudes of 1600 to 2100 meters.
Tres Rayas processes up to 80,000 kg of dry coffee during the main harvest season and operates with certifications like Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest, and UTZ, while also focusing on sustainable practices such as composting organic waste and training young producers.
