Heinde & Verre 55% Noble Bali Vegan Mylk is an organic chocolate bar with single origin, sun-dried cocoa beans from the Indonesian island of Bali. They buy cacao beans directly from the KSS farmer cooperative there. The cacao is mixed with Dutch beet sugar, and Heinde & Verre has developed their own process to make the bar creamy WITHOUT the use of dairy milk, nuts or eggs.

Rotterdam chocolate from Heinde & Verre

Heinde & Verre make their grand cru chocolates with custom-made machines in Rotterdam North. Evermore sells this single origin 55% bar from “Noble Bali” cacao beans that is creamy AND vegan. This award-winning bar won the silver award at the 2021 Academy of Chocolate competition in the milk chocolate category. That does indicate that dairy milk is not missed in this mylk bar.

Each chocolate bar ‘matures’ for at least three months. The cacao beans are roasted in Rotterdam and further processed into these delectable bars.

Heinde & Verre makes their chocolate directly from the cacao beans. The cacao beans are also partly imported by themselves, such as the beans for the ‘Noble Bali’ bar. There are only a few chocolate makers in the Netherlands who make chocolate completely from bean to bar themselves. This is called bean to bar chocolate, a true craft.

Flavour: floral and buttery with hints of spices and honey.

Ingredients: cacao beans, H&V mylk, sunflower lecithin.

Additional Information: NO milk, lactose, nuts, soy, gluten or eggs!


Storage advice: Store in a cool, dark and dry place. The ideal storage temperature is 10-18ºC.
