This organically certified oolong is picked in the Himalayas in Nepal. The tea is quite far oxidised, so it can be called a dark oolong.
Flavour: malty, sweet with a slightly toasty flavour. Full bodied.

Aarubotay, ‘plum tree’, is a small family garden that produces tea in limited editions. They are the first Nepali tea makers to craft their teas with Japanese machinery, technology and expertise. Their tea plants in are a mix of Japanese, Chinese and cloned cultivars that are picked regularly. The garden directly employs more than 30 families in the area.
